Kirsten Atwood, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Atwood has been practicing Audiology for over 30 years.

She completed both her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Master’s of Science degree in Audiology from the University of South Alabama.

After more than a decade in the field, she went back to school and, in 2003, earned a Doctor of Audiology degree at the Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Dr. Atwood has extensive experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid technologies.

She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, is a founding member of the American Academy of Audiology, and an active member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology.

Michele P. Phillips, Au.D. 

Doctor of Audiology

Michele P. Phillips completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1990 and 1992 respectively. 

She later continued her education and earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2005 from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Phillips has thirty years of experience in a variety of clinical settings, including ENT, hospital, and private practice. She has worked with patients from infants to geriatrics in both diagnostic audiology and vestibular/balance testing.

Dr. Phillips understands the negative impact of hearing loss on patients, their families, and significant others, and has extensive knowledge of hearing aid technology and assistive listening devices.

Dr. Phillips is a member, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence, from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology. 
Ami Muncy, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology

Ami Muncy, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Ami Muncy, AuD is an audiologist with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Muncy graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Art in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

She completed her Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) from the University of Texas at Dallas/Callier Center for Communication Disorders.

After practicing in the Dallas area for nearly fifteen years, she moved back to her hometown in sunny South Florida. Dr. Muncy has extensive experience working with patients of all ages in a variety of settings, including cochlear implant research, university education, ENT practice, and hearing aid private practice. Her main areas of interest are patient-focused diagnostic evaluation, vestibular assessment and treatment, tinnitus management, and customized amplification.

She believes strongly in creating a relationship of trust between herself and her patients, where the patient can thrive in her care.
